Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 6 November 2026
1. Scope and general principle
This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to purchases from Traders MBA, operated by Sach Capital Limited, including recorded courses, digital lectures and resources, masterclasses, Mini MBA programmes, live educational sessions, and one-to-one mentoring.
Traders MBA does not ordinarily offer discretionary change-of-mind refunds after qualifying digital content has begun to be supplied with the customer’s legally valid consent and acknowledgement, or after the applicable statutory cancellation period for services has expired. Different rules apply to digital content, services and programmes combining both. Nothing in this policy removes mandatory statutory rights.
Please read the relevant programme description and these terms before ordering. Our Terms and Conditions and the purchase confirmation form part of the contractual information.
2. Digital courses, recordings and learning resources
Recorded courses, video lessons, digital masterclasses, streamed content, assessments and qualifying electronic learning materials may be digital content supplied without a tangible medium. A consumer generally has a 14-day statutory cancellation period starting on the day the relevant contract is entered into, unless a lawful exception applies.
Under Regulation 37 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, we may begin supplying digital content during that period only after the consumer has given prior express consent and acknowledged that the right to cancel will be lost when supply begins. Where required, we must also provide confirmation of that consent and acknowledgement on a durable medium, such as an email.
Once supply has begun and all applicable legal conditions have been satisfied, there is no change-of-mind refund for the digital content. This remains the case if the customer later chooses not to watch the videos, take assessments, complete the course or use the available access period. An account registration, completed checkout or ordinary acceptance of general terms is not, on its own, the specific express consent and acknowledgement required by law.
If the required consent, acknowledgement or contractual confirmation has not been obtained, or supply has not yet begun, the consumer retains any statutory cancellation rights that apply. Other statutory remedies remain available regardless of whether the cancellation right has been lost.
3. Mentoring and other live educational services
Private mentoring, live instruction and scheduled educational sessions are services and are not automatically subject to the same cancellation exception as recorded digital content.
For an eligible distance service contract, the consumer normally has a 14-day statutory cancellation period starting on the day the contract is entered into. If a consumer expressly requests that the service begin within that period, mentoring may start earlier. Where the legal requirements are satisfied and the consumer then cancels within that period, the customer may be required to pay a fair, proportionate amount for the services actually supplied before cancellation.
Where a service has been fully performed during the cancellation period following the consumer’s express request and acknowledgement of the resulting loss of cancellation rights, the statutory change-of-mind cancellation right may be lost in accordance with Regulation 36.
Simply attending the first mentoring session does not automatically remove the right to cancel the remaining programme during the statutory cancellation period. A general checkout acceptance or automatic enrolment is not sufficient to establish the legally required express request for early performance.
After the applicable statutory cancellation period has expired, Traders MBA does not ordinarily provide discretionary change-of-mind refunds for mentoring or live services. However, where future services have not been supplied, any contractual deduction or cancellation charge must be fair, proportionate and consistent with our actual recoverable loss and any obligation to mitigate that loss. No term permits us automatically to keep the entire price of substantial undelivered services regardless of the circumstances.
4. Programmes combining recorded courses and mentoring
Some Traders MBA programmes combine immediate access to recorded educational content with future live or one-to-one mentoring. The legal treatment of those elements may differ, including where a programme is sold for one combined price.
Valid consent to immediate supply of digital content does not by itself remove separate cancellation rights that apply to unprovided mentoring services. If a statutory cancellation right is exercised, the relevant contract, elements supplied, any lawful allocation of price and any permissible proportionate service charge will be assessed in accordance with applicable law.
We will not treat all future mentoring sessions as delivered merely because the digital course has been accessed. Any allocation between course and mentoring elements must reflect a fair and transparent basis rather than an arbitrary non-refundable amount.
5. Circumstances where no discretionary refund is ordinarily offered
Subject always to statutory cancellation and consumer remedies, Traders MBA does not ordinarily offer voluntary refunds solely because a customer changes their mind after qualifying digital content has begun to be supplied, stops watching lessons, fails to complete assessments, no longer has time to study, changes learning preferences or is disappointed with their own trading or financial results.
Traders MBA does not guarantee trading profitability, investment returns, employment, a particular career outcome or any other result not expressly guaranteed in the contract. A lack of such outcomes alone does not create a discretionary refund entitlement.
These statements do not permit refusal of a legally required refund or other statutory remedy for content or services that are faulty, not as described, materially unavailable or not supplied in accordance with the contract.
6. Mentoring cancellations, rescheduling and missed sessions
Mentoring involves advance scheduling of instructor time. Please give as much notice as reasonably possible if a session needs to be rescheduled. Any specific notice period or booking charge must be disclosed to the customer before the relevant contract is entered into.
If the customer misses a session or cancels after the statutory cancellation period, we may apply only a reasonable, proportionate charge permitted by the contract and applicable law, taking account of costs genuinely incurred and reasonable steps to limit any loss. An undisclosed or disproportionate penalty will not be imposed.
If Traders MBA cancels or cannot provide an agreed paid session, we will arrange a reasonable replacement or provide a refund or other remedy where required by law. We do not automatically deny refunds when we fail to provide contracted services.
7. Faulty, misdescribed or undelivered digital content and services
The Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable laws protect customers where digital content is not as described, not of satisfactory quality or otherwise fails statutory standards, or where a service is not performed with reasonable care and skill.
Depending on the circumstances, customers may be entitled to repair, replacement, repeat performance, a price reduction, a refund or other remedy. Nothing in this policy excludes those rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. How to cancel or raise a refund concern
To exercise an applicable cancellation right, send a clear statement identifying your intention to cancel to info@traders.mba. Include your name, order reference and programme if available. A customer is not required to provide a reason for exercising a valid statutory cancellation right.
You may use the optional cancellation form at the end of this policy, but another clear statement is sufficient. Customers can also contact us to raise concerns about delivery, quality or access. We will review the matter fairly under the contract and applicable law.
Where a refund is required under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, we will make it within the statutory timeframe and using the original payment method unless a different lawful method has been expressly agreed. We will not impose a fee for a statutory refund.
9. Required checkout consent and confirmation
For immediate digital delivery during the statutory cancellation period, Traders MBA must obtain the legally required express consent and acknowledgement, separate from simply completing the purchase, before commencing supply. Any consent must be supported by the confirmation required by law, and we should retain an appropriate record.
For mentoring that is to begin during the statutory cancellation period, the customer must expressly request early commencement, and any acknowledgement concerning loss of cancellation rights must satisfy the applicable rules. Mentoring does not automatically become non-refundable when the first session begins.
This policy explains the required process, but publishing it does not itself constitute the customer’s consent, acknowledgement or express request.
10. Statutory rights and governing law
Nothing in this policy or our Terms and Conditions excludes or restricts rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under UK consumer protection law. Any term inconsistent with mandatory law is subject to that law.
This policy is governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections applicable in the consumer’s country of residence.
